Last month, my mother took me and my best friend on a surprise trip to Disney. She recently got her wedding ring stolen from her and now I’m trying to raise enough money to buy her a new ring and take her on a surprise trip to the Dominican Republic. I’m getting a great deal on Priceline, though, so the trip won’t even be that expensive. The resort is all-inclusive, too, so we won’t need spending money like we did in Disney. The ring is what I’m really worried about. I’d like to come up with enough money to present her with the ring and the plane tickets at Christmas.
I’m also trying to purchase myself a car so that I can get to and from my jobs. Right now, I have to rely on others for my transportation because no public transportation goes to the areas where I work. If I get a car, I can have more flexible hours, make more money, and get to my goal even quicker. I currently have one job as an student assistant on-campus, but I have two more lined up, one at a veterinary office and one at a high-class hotel as a welcome receptionist. They both depend on me having flexible transportation.
So if you feel like donating, please do! There’s no set amount that you have to donate, it’s completely up to you. Anything is appreciated, though.
